Hakata Mangetsu

4.2 out of 5.0 stars

Located just a one-minute walk from the station, this well-situated restaurant is always bustling with customers.

There are some sofa seats available, making it quite comfortable. The staff’s service is also quite good. This is my fourth visit, and the cost performance remains excellent.

I enjoyed a draft beer while listening to the artist’s stories. It’s the usual Malts beer, with average cost performance. I also ordered a Coke Highball. At 250 yen, it’s quite cheap, but the alcohol content is correspondingly low. The appetizer was a simple vinegar dish.

For food, I ordered motsu-suki and chicken togarashi. The taste matches the price, but it’s sufficient if you’re looking for something affordable. For two people, eating and drinking lightly costs less than 4,000 yen. I’ll definitely come back when I want to drink on the cheap.
